Sreemangal is situated in Moulvibazar district in sylhet division. Sreemangal is an Upazila. It is famous for tea garden. Rain all time occurs here. Nature has adorned sreemangal with green tress. Its natural scenery is very charming. It soothes one’s eyes. Birds are twittering always here. The first tea garden in Bangladesh which names “Malni chho ra tea garden” is here. The terraced tea gardens, plantations and evergreen hills of sreemangal are wonderful treats for the tourists. On the way, of Sreemangal by bus you’ll see a statue “cha konna” which is stands for welcome you. But if you come in sreemangal by train you’ll miss this statue. When you’ll come near in the tea garden you find the smell of tea leaves.
The trip will start from Sreemangal town.
6 AM: Reached at Sreemangal at check into 3-star category hotel (as per the hotel Check-in & Check out policy). The room will be given 2 X Double Bed Room & 1 X Couple Room.
9 AM: Breakfast will be served at Panshi Restaurant with Paratha, Egg, Dal & Tea.
10 AM: We will start our journey to Lawachora National Park by A/C Hiace. It may take approx. 20 minutes to reach there.
10:30 PM: Reached to Lawachora National Park. Lawachara is the only rainforest in Bangladesh. A local guide from there will give you a short trip to Lawachora National Park around 1 hour. Lawachara National Park is best known for the relative ease of seeing primates including four globally threatened species: Northern Pig-tailed Macaque, Phayre’s Leaf Monkey, Capped Langur, and the most important population in Bangladesh of Western Hoolock Gibbon, the only ape found in Bangladesh.
1 PM: After visiting the Lawachora, we will get back to sreemangal bus stand & take lunch in Kutumbari restaurant with Plain Rice, Chicken Curry, Dal.
3 PM: After having lunch, you will be heading toward Baikka Beel Sanctuary. Baikka Beel is a part of the Hail Haor, a vast wetland of almost 100 acres. So far 141 bird species have been recorded in the sanctuary.
6 PM: Our guide will take you to Nilkantha where you can have the experience of the traditional 7 colored tea.
9 PM: Dinner will be served at Kutumbari Restaurant which is near to the hotel with Plain rice, Chicken/Fish Curry, Vorta, Dal.
Stay overnight in the hotel.
9 AM: Check out from the hotel & our guide will take you to Panshi Restaurant for breakfast including Paratha, Egg, Dal & Tea.
10 AM: Our guide will take you to Bhanubil where you can experience the cultural community & tea picking with the Manipuri community in the tea garden. The tea garden is just 10 minutes walking distance from the Bhanubil Village. Our host will guide you to the tea garden where you can see the local workers are picking tea. You can join them, take amazing pictures and learn how they collect tea leaves. Take another walk another the village and enjoy the fresh Manipuri Style Green Tea picked by yourself from the garden.
1 PM: Lunch will be served with traditional Manipuri Food.
3 PM: After lunch, we will be heading toward Madhobpur Lake. It will take 20 minutes to reach there.
4 PM: Reach Madhabpur Lake. A lake is a great place during the winter season cause all the migratory birds from cold countries get together in this lake and the scene becomes awesome. The lake was initially made due to the irrigation of the tea garden. The lake is surrounded by dotted hills. You can get an amazing experience by walking around the lake and hills.
6 PM: Leaving your memories behind, our guide will drop you at the bus station.
The trip will end at Sreemangal twon.
