If you are looking for a place like Cox’s Bazar sea beach! near Dhaka, Dohar Moinot Ghat can be a great option for you. It is now know as Mini Cox’s Bazar. Being an avid fan of rivers, boat trips and minimal time to reach a destination, it becomes popular destination to visit.
A place where you will find another the experience of Cox’s Bazar. It’s also called the mini Cox’s Bazar. It’s close to Dhaka city, in Dohar. It will take around 2/3 hours to go there from Dhaka. Moinot is a small quay on the bank of Padma located in Dhaka. Now don’t get your hopes up like I did when hearing that it’s in Dhaka. Padma is still miles away from the city and the nearest river is still everyone’s favourite, Buriganga. The quay is situated in the Dohar Upazilla, southwest of Dhaka city and is around 2 and a half hours of travel from the capital.

In the morning at 8 AM, you will be picked from specified location by a reserved sedan car. Breakfast will be served on the way. It will take 3 hours to go there. In between we will visit the century Raj Palace. It’s situated in Bandura area.
Within 12 PM, you will reach Moinot Ghat and roam around the bank of Padma river. At 1 PM lunch will be served at a local restaurant with fresh fishes from Padma river. After lunch a boat trip will be arranged in the Padma river.
After watching sunset in the Moinot Ghat, we will start journey for Dhaka city. Drop off to specified location.
