All about the Valley of Clouds.

One of the most tourists attractive place which will definitely refresh your mind. You will be surrounded by clouds from every side. situated among the hills of Kasalong range of mountains in Sajek union, Baghaichhari Upazila in Rangamati District. The valley is 2000 feet above sea level. Sajek valley is known as the Queen of Hills & Roof of Rangamati. The name of Sajek Valley came from Sajek River that originates from Karnafuli river. Sajek river is works as a border between Bangladesh and India.

Sajek is a union located in north of Chittagong Hill From Khagrachhari town, it is situated 67 km north-east from Khagrachhari town and 95 km North-West from Rangamati city. The border of Bangladesh and Mizoram of India is 8 kilometer east from Sajek.

Sajek valley is famous for its natural beauty. The valley is surrounded by mountains, dense forest, grasslands hilly tracks. Many small rivers flow through the mountains among which Kachalong and Machalong are notable. On the way to Sajek valley, one has to cross the Mayni range and Mayni river. The road to Sajek has high picks and falls. The native people of Sajek valley are ethnic minorities. Among them Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Pankua, Lushai and Sagma are mentionable. Women seem to be more involved in economic activities here. Tea stalls, food joints and roadside marketplaces are dominated by women. People in general are gentle, welcoming and friendly. Picking fruits and vegetables early in the morning is a major trade here. They are not fluent in Bengali but the young population speak English confidently.

  1. Day 1 Night Journey to Hills

    Trip will be started from Dhaka. Luxurious highway A/C chain coach will be provided. 10 PM: Departure from Dhaka. Reached at Khagrachori town at 6 AM.

  2. Day2 Valley of Clouds

    7 AM: Breakfast will be served. 8 AM: Journey to Dighinala by mini bus 9 AM: Dighinala to Sajek Valley 4x4 Land Cruiser or local private vehicle 1 PM: Reached at Sajek Valley and check into local house. Night will be stayed at the valley. You will be definitely the beauty of Sajek Valley lying around clouds.

  3. Day3 Cultural Minglings & Return

    After breakfast, you will visit Konglak Para, the highest point of Sajek Valley. You will also be visit Risang Waterfall, one of the beautiful waterfalls in Bangladesh. 1 PM: lunch will be served with exotic local food dishes 2 PM: Start journey to Khagrachoi town. 7 PM: Reached at Khagrachori town. 10 PM: After dinner, start journey to Dhaka by luxurious AC chair coach.

Exotic Local Food

You will be visiting hilly region but no trekking will be done in the trip. So, you can wear anything you feel comfort.

Sajek Valley is surrounded by clouds so you may feel cold in the night and in the morning. We recommend you to have warm cloths with you.

You will be staying wooden tribal houses in tribal villages so that you can feel the native culture closely. Tourists may need to share rooms depending on availability.

You will be served local food dishes. We will maintain diet and nutritious food menus recommended by specialists.
